Project Overview

The objective of this project was to identify and screen potential storage complexes suitable for the injection of approximately 40 kilotonnes (Kt) per year of CO2, with an estimated storage capacity of 0.8 to 1 million tonnes (Mt) over a 20-25 year project life.

The client was granted project approval through CleanBC to complete an assessment to identify aquifer and depleted gas pools with suitability for long-term geologic storage of CO2 near a gas plant in British Columbia.
