The viability of subsurface water disposal is a function of reservoir quality, pressure containment, geological continuity, regulatory constraints, and operational risk. This study presents a screening-based framework for evaluating water disposal options using geological and pore-space characterization to identify intervals capable of safely accommodating current and future water handling requirements.
