CDL’s updated Frac Sand Forecast 2018-2022 is a ground-up analysis of historical frac sand usage and forecast of future trends. Each of the major resource plays in Western Canada are analyzed and forecast separately to arrive at this comprehensive look at the entire basin. The foundation is an amalgamation of industry drilling forecasts and recent completion designs (tonnage, mesh size, stages, fluids) feeding into a proprietary Monte Carlo simulation that generates high, expected and low demand forecasts. The granularity of this forecast is unmatched and provides a clear picture of future trends.
