The purpose of this study is to evaluate the potential of the Belly River Formation as a water source aquifer. A review of the data in the study area indicates that there are no DSTs, completions or fluid sample analyses from the Belly River Formation. The study is therefore focussed on geological controls in the area to identify a suitable sandstone body in the Belly River, which could potentially be used as a water source.
