Geomechanical evaluations are provided for specific wells in the West Pembina Second White Specks fractured shale trend. Drilling experience, image logs and geomechanical properties (stress, pressure, rock properties) are discussed. Bentonite beds can act as barriers to hydraulic fracture propagation, are an important aspect of this evaluation.
