Geological mapping and core descriptions are used to characterize the Wild River Leduc M Pool and determine it's suitability for water disposal. Leduc depositional facies and diagenetic history are documented. A hydrothermal dolomitization model is invoked. Leduc reef pore volume is calculated. The suitability of the Leduc M reef as a water disposal candidate depends on the degree of connection to the underlying Beaverhill Lake platform.
