The 2019 Montney Regional Hydrodynamics Study is a significant update to CDL’s 2014 study as over 3,500 Montney wells have been drilled in that time. Significantly, liquids-rich fairways have expanded greatly as well. Canadian Discovery’s 2019 Montney Regional Hydrodynamics Study includes:

  • Updated hydrodynamics and geothermics data and mapping.
  • Updated fluid chemistry mapping (C2+ Wet Gas Index, H2S, Oil API Gravity and Total Dissolved Solids).
  • A focus on liquids fairways and recent expansion of development.

The updated pressure, geothermics, and fluid chemistry mapping is related to observed liquids distribution to come up with an integrated picture of fluid dynamics in the Montney.

As in the past, CDL Hydrodynamics can provide fresh insights on these trends, the controlling factors and potential new fairways. Ultimately this study will help operators with development planning, reservoir management, and evaluating A&D opportunities. Download the brochure or contact us for more information.
