The objective of this study is to characterize the hydrogeology of the Paddy and Cadotte Formations in order to:

• Determine the regional continuity of the units and any compartmentalization that may be the result of structural or stratigraphic controls.
• Understand the fluid contacts associated with gas accumulations in the area.
• Determine the effects and extent of regional pressure drawdown due to production
• To obtain information of the regional "fingerprint" of formation water from the Paddy and Cadotte.

Both Paddy and Cadotte Formations can be isolated into a number of hydraulic systems, and these systems are defined by either structural breaks or stratigraphic pinch outs. There are gas pools associated with many of these systems and fluid contacts can be defined from the pressure vs. elevation graphs associated with the study.
