Specific Western Canadian oil and liquids-rich-gas play areas were evaluated in the following categories: land sale history, competitor analysis, drilling and completion design, production characterization, reservoir characterization, infrastructure, full cycle economics, and CDL play expertise. Play Areas evaluated were: Belly River (Edson), Cardium (Willesden Green), Dunvegan (Bigstone), Viking (Western Alberta), Viking (Eastern Alberta- Western Saskatchewan), Rock Creek (Edson), and Montney (Regional). Mergers and Acquisitions within the Western Canadian oil industry were evaluated on historical price metrics for these play areas.
