The main objective of this study, located in the Mica-Doe area on the AB-BC border, was to provide a detailed assessment of potential water disposal in the Bluesky formation, with a secondary objective of evaluating potential for CO2 storage in depleted Kiskatinaw gas pools.
Deliverables include geological and hydrogeological mapping within the Bluesky formation, as well as an estimate of the storage resource within three depleted pools in the Kiskatinaw formation in the same area.
