Webinar Synopsis

Synopsis :

The shift toward global decarbonization has catalyzed the search for primary, low-carbon energy sources, positioning Natural, or “Gold” Hydrogen (“NH2”) as a critical frontier in the energy transition. In late 2025, MAX Power Mining Corp. achieved a historic milestone by completing Canada’s first-ever deep well specifically designed to evaluate an NH2 system. The prospect, called “Lawson”, is located at the northern end of the 475-km-long Genesis Trend in southern Saskatchewan. Verified by three separate certified analytical laboratories, results show up to 19% hydrogen from a through-casing well flow test and up to 28.6% H2 from gas samples recovered from sealed core desorption tubes, confirming the presence of a natural hydrogen system at Max’s Lawson Project. Join us on Thursday, June 4 for a first look at MAX Power’s Lawson Saskatchewan Natural Hydrogen Discovery.

Prairie Hunter is a Saskatchewan-based geoscience and exploration consulting and advisement corporation owned and managed by Mr. Stephen Halabura, M.Sc., P.Geo., FEC (Hon.), FGC. Mr. Halabura has decades of successful experience in the province’s resource sector and has a deep understanding of the geological controls on the accumulation of helium and associated gases such as Natural Hydrogen.

Mr. Halabura leads an exploration team that recently confirmed Canada’s first-ever Natural Hydrogen discovery through drilling in south-central Saskatchewan on the 475-km-long Genesis Trend.

Mr. Halabura is also founder and CEO of Buffalo Potash Corp., a recently listed junior potash explorer and developer.  As a potash specialist, he was also instrumental in the early formative stages of the only two Saskatchewan greenfield potash mines to come into existence in the past several decades.
