The presentation provides an overview of the importance of lithium, specifically why this element will have an increasing role to play within the current and future high-tech Canadian and world economy. A discussion of the source and the distribution of each of this critical resource within the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin (WCSB), both areally and stratigraphically is also provided. Finally, an overview of historical and current operator activity is provided across the WCSB for those companies working to develop and extract this important resource.
