As part of a panel discussion on “What will be Unconventional Next?” this presentation explores the rise of unconventional and the impact of unconventional development on key plays in Western Canada. What were/are some of the changes that have facilitated the rise of the unconventional leap forward? The Viking, Montney and Cardium formations are discussed.
