This study, while it summarizes the findings of a hydrogeologic investigation of the Belly River Formation in the Edson area of west-central Alberta, defines the updip deep basin limit within each Lower Belly River Formation cycle, determines oil/gas/water contacts where possible, predicts trap types and play fairways, and suggests prospective areas for future exploration.
