This study incorporates water analysis, pressure data, Drillstem Tests (DST) and Absolute Open Flow (AOF) well tests in the area of T. 74-78, R. 4-8W4M. Sufficient amount of data was available to create the potentiometric surface and TDS maps for 3 Cretaceous aquifers:

1. The Grand Rapids
2. Clearwater
3. Wabiskaw/McMurray and the upper most portion of the Devonian Paleozoic.

The ground surface topography has a very strong influence on the distribution of hydraulic heads and direction of groundwater flow in all horizons. Groundwater flow is directed vertically downwards from surface to depth across the entire study area, except at a localized region of potential upward flow from the Devonian into the overlying Wabiskaw/ McMurray.
