The objective of this project was to conduct a reconnaissance analysis of the petroleum potential of the Nordegg Member within the defined study area. At the time of the study, the Nordegg only produces in the Pine Creek Field; however, a number of significant hydrocarbon shows are observed throughout the study area. This study was conducted using a combination of geology and hydrodynamics to provide play leads and recommendations for future work.
