This comprehensive analysis of proppant usage examines annual tonnages placed for nine major resource plays. The report provides an unparalleled level of detail about the proppant being pumped in Western Canada. The Montney was further divided into 3 areas bringing the total in- depth analyses to 11 plays or areas, along with a basinal overview. The analysis for each play details the annual tonnage placed by: operator, service provider, proppant type and mesh size. The proppant usage in the vicinity around 11 key service centres provides further insight into past demand. This is the predecessor study to CDL’s Western Canadian Proppant Forecast: 2017-2021 (WCPF).
