This study reviews the findings of the hydrogeological investigation of the Slave Point Formation and the Sulphur Point Formation in the Bistcho Lake area of northwest Alberta (T. 115-125, R. 1-12W6M). The purpose and objectives of this study include: providing regional hydrogeological framework of the Slave Point and Sulphur Point Formations and integrate regional geologic and geophysical mapping to the framework, define the distribution of the hydrocarbons within the context of effective pool outlines, determine oil/gas/water contacts where possible, characterize formation water and gas chemistry composition, and characterize the fluid potential field, flow directions and their potential impact on hydrocarbon distribution.
