Geological and hydrogeological assessment of Lower Paleozoic saline aquifers in a study area of west-central Alberta to evaluate CO₂ sequestration potential. The study identified the Basal Cambrian Sand as the preferred storage target and assessed reservoir quality, containment, hydrodynamics, pore volume, storage resource and injectivity to support development of a potential carbon sequestration hub.
